The Delaware Valley Americans United Chapter invites you to a casual discussion of church-state issues in the private Chef’s Table room at LaScala’s Italian Restaurant, 615 Chestnut St at 7th St, in Philadelphia PA, from 6:00 to 8:00pm, on the second Thursday of each month in this location.
Happy Hour at LaScala’s begins at 5pm if you want to arrive early; we have the room at 6. There is free parking upstairs with the purchase of an entree. The meeting may go on past 8pm. This meeting is free and open to the public, but please bring an appetite, as they expect our group to order food and drinks. Seating is very limited, please RSVP. Thanks!
At our first meeting at LaScala’s, we will have dinner and a movie, watching the video “Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Separation of Church and State… But Were Afraid to Ask!” A lively, informative and entertaining celebration of individual freedom and some of the citizens who have boldly taken public stands to protect the separation of church and state.
You can watch a clip from the movie here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJ8HT24ivsU
