Delaware Valley Chapter, Americans United for Separation of Church and State (DVAU) March 2012 Events and Chapter news

Welcome to our new email list members, and hello again to all of our longtime members. Here’s our latest update. The DVAU Chapter is organizing meetings in various locations throughout the area, we hope you can come out to one of our upcoming events. We’re hosting “meet, greet, and eat” Meetups as well as Chapter Program events.

DVAU/Philly Casual Discussion Meetup, Midtown II Restaurant, 122 S 11th St in Philadelphia PA (near 11th & Sansom), from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 8, 2012.

DVAU/GloCo Casual Discussion Meetup, Barnes & Noble Cafe on Rowan Blvd (near Main & High Streets) in Glassboro, Gloucester County, NJ, from 1:00 to 3:00pm, Saturday, March 10, 2012.

DVAU/BurlCo Casual Discussion Meetup, Barnes & Noble store, 200 W Rte 70 (near Rtes 70 & 73), Marlton NJ, from 10:30am to 12:00 noon, Sunday, March 11, 2012.

DVAU/CamCo Casual Discussion Meetup, Club Diner, 20 North Black Horse Pike, just off West Browning Road in Bellmawr NJ, from 1:30 to 3:00pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

DVAU/Philly Special Event: Katherine Stewart, author of “The Good News Club,” Skyline Room on the 4th floor of the Parkway Central Library in Philadelphia PA, at 1901 Vine Street (between 19th and 20th Streets on the Parkway), from 7:00pm to 8:30pm,Thursday March 29. 2012.

Upcoming Programs will be the showing of the movie: “The Lord Is Not On Trial Here Today,” Doylestown Bucks Co PA on April 12, and Parkway Central Library on May 10.

You can suggest events on our Meetup calendar, via email to info@dvau.org, on the Discussion Board on the Church and State Meetup Group, or in our private Yahoo Group where we sometimes have very active discussions. DVAU’s news and information sharing is most active on our Facebook and Twitter. You are invited to join us here, there, and everywhere!

Read DVAU President Ed Joyce’s blog, the President’s Post, on our site each week. Also check our site and Facebook to learn when our letters to local newspapers are published. We’re staying on top of local church-state issues, and sharing our work with everyone through both the internet and our meetings.
